Autoflip

Partner programme terms

These rules apply to everyone taking part in the Autoflip partner programme. Read articles 7 to 10 in particular: they set out what is not allowed and who is responsible if it happens anyway.

  1. 01What this programme is

You bring customers to Autoflip and receive commission for it. You act as an independent party, at your own expense and risk.

You are not an employee, agent, representative or subcontractor of Autoflip. You may never give the impression that you speak on behalf of Autoflip, that you work there or that you are authorised to make agreements in our name.

  2. 02Commission

    • 40% of every amount a customer you brought in actually pays during his first twelve months.
    • 20% from month 13 through month 24.
    • After that the commission on that customer ends.

The calculation uses the amount we actually receive, not the list price. If a customer gets a discount your commission is proportionally lower. The rule applies to monthly payers as well as yearly payers.

  3. 03When a customer counts

A customer counts from his first successful payment. A free trial account earns no commission.

The link is recorded once, at the moment the account is created: through your link (kept in a cookie for 90 days) or through your code on the signup form. A manually entered code beats the cookie.

A customer who already had an account cannot be assigned to you afterwards. You earn nothing on your own subscription.

  4. 0430-day holding period

Every commission is held for 30 days before it becomes payable.

That delay exists for a reason: during this period a payment can still come back. This happens in two ways. The customer can dispute the amount with his bank or card issuer (a chargeback). We can also refund it ourselves. In both cases the commission is cancelled, because on balance nothing was paid.

If the commission had already been transferred to you, we offset it against your next payout. Your balance can therefore be temporarily negative until it is made up.

  5. 05Payout

We pay out monthly by bank transfer, as soon as your payable balance reaches 50 euro or more. Below that the balance rolls over to the next month.

Your name and IBAN must be filled in under your settings. Without those details we cannot transfer anything and your balance stays put.

  6. 06VAT and exactly how it works

If you have no VAT number we transfer exactly your balance. 100 euro of commission is 100 euro in your account. Nothing is added and nothing is withheld.

If you do have a VAT number and enter it in your settings, we add 21% VAT on top. 100 euro of commission then becomes 121 euro in your account. Note: those 21 euro are not yours. It is VAT that you pay over to the tax authority yourself in your return.

With every payout we produce a self-billing document. That is a statement we draw up on your behalf, so you do not have to send an invoice yourself. You will find it in your dashboard under Payouts.

What you earn here is taxable income for you. We withhold nothing, pay nothing over on your behalf and are not your employer. Your tax return is your own responsibility, as is the question of whether you need a company number or VAT number. If you are unsure, ask your accountant before you start.

  7. 07How you may not recruit

The following methods are forbidden without exception within this programme:

    • Unsolicited bulk messages in any form: email, sms, WhatsApp, Telegram, private messages on social media, mass comments, contact forms or unsolicited call rounds.
    • Buying, renting, scraping or otherwise collecting email addresses or phone numbers in order to approach them.
    • Advertising on the Autoflip name or variants and misspellings of it, including bidding on those terms in search engines.
    • Posing as Autoflip or as an Autoflip employee. That includes using a website, profile or email address that creates that impression.
    • Misleading promises about what the product does, about prices, about the trial period or about results.
    • Creating accounts for other people or referring yourself through a second email address.
  8. 08This is not only against our rules, it is against the law

Unsolicited commercial messages are regulated by law. In the Netherlands under article 11.7 of the Telecommunicatiewet. In Belgium under book VI of the Code of Economic Law. Across Europe the GDPR applies on top of that for processing personal data.

Regulators such as the ACM in the Netherlands, the Economic Inspectorate in Belgium and the Data Protection Authority can impose fines for this. Those fines land on the party that sent the message or collected the data.

    That is you, not Autoflip.

  9. 09Liability

You decide how you recruit and you do so entirely at your own expense and risk. Autoflip is not liable for the way you approach customers and has no control over it.

If Autoflip is held to account for something you did, in the form of a complaint, a claim, an investigation, a fine or damages, we recover that from you in full. You indemnify Autoflip against it, including the cost of legal assistance.

  10. 10Consequences of a breach

If you breach article 7, the following follows without prior warning:

    • immediate suspension of your partner account;
    • forfeiture of all commission not yet paid out;
    • recovery of commission already paid out that came from the referrals concerned.
  11. 11Termination

Both parties can stop at any time, with no notice period and no reason. If you stop, we pay out whatever is payable at that moment and exceeds the 50 euro threshold.

  12. 12Changes

We can amend these terms. Any change is announced by email to the address you signed up with. If you keep taking part afterwards, the new terms apply.
