Per brand we compute the weighted median of asking prices over the last 7 days and compare it with the 7 days before that. Brands with fewer than 100 listings per window are excluded. Asking prices, not sale prices; indicative.
What does a falling brand price mean for buyers?+
Negotiation room: sellers of that brand compete with ever cheaper alternatives. Check the current median per brand on the price index and a specific asking price with the deal check; in a falling market it pays to let an overpriced listing sit for a while.
